1. Agreement scope
- These Terms and Conditions govern access to LogTrim services and related support.
- By creating an account, accepting an order form, or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or your organization.
2. Eligibility and account security
- You must provide accurate account data and maintain current billing and contact details.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials and API keys issued under your workspace.
3. Acceptable use
- You may not use the service to violate law, transmit malware, interfere with platform stability, or bypass tenant isolation controls.
- You must only submit telemetry that your organization is authorized to process and route.
4. Subscription and billing
- Paid access is managed through our billing provider, which is the authority for recurring charges, taxes, and receipt issuance.
- Subscription status controls whether organization workspaces remain active. Failed payments may suspend access until billing is resolved.
5. Service changes and availability
- We may update features, APIs, and destination integrations as long as core contracted functionality remains materially intact.
- Maintenance windows and incidents may impact availability. Enterprise plans may include SLA commitments documented in signed agreements.
6. Data handling boundaries
- Account and billing systems handle account, billing, and configuration metadata only.
- Telemetry processing systems handle customer log traffic according to active pipeline configurations and destination settings.
7. Intellectual property
- LogTrim retains ownership of the service, software, and documentation.
- You retain ownership of your telemetry data, configuration content, and destination credentials provided to the platform.
8. Confidentiality
- Each party agrees to protect confidential information received from the other party using reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
- Confidentiality obligations survive termination except for information that becomes public through no fault of the receiving party.
9. Termination
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing flow or support.
- We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security abuse, sanctions restrictions, or non-payment.
10. Warranties and disclaimers
- The service is provided on an as-available basis except to the extent a signed SLA states otherwise.
- We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, non-infringement, and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Liability limits
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Aggregate liability for claims related to the service is limited to fees paid in the twelve months before the claim event.
12. Governing law and contact
- These terms are governed by the law stated in your order form or, if none is specified, the governing law where LogTrim is incorporated.
- Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@logtrim.dev.
